Shadowcraft

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

This policy explains how Opiray Creative Design Agency SRL, operating as Opiray Studio ("we", "us"), handles information in Shadowcraft and on its information and support pages. Contact us at hello@opiray.com for privacy questions or requests.

1. Playing without an account

Shadowcraft does not require a sign-up, login, or player profile. Puzzle progress, best times, preferences, and some session and review-prompt history are saved locally on your device. The game does not provide its own account-based cloud sync for these records.

The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location. Sharing a game image through your device’s share sheet is an action you choose; the destination you select handles that shared content.

2. Advertising and consent

Shadowcraft uses Google AdMob for interstitial ads between some puzzles and optional rewarded ads. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device or advertising identifiers, ad views and interactions, app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. This supports ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.

Google’s User Messaging Platform handles applicable advertising consent choices. Ad requests are gated on the consent status returned by that service. Where privacy options are required, an Ad privacy action appears in the game’s Settings so you can revisit your choices.

On Apple devices, access to the advertising identifier (IDFA) requires permission through App Tracking Transparency. You can manage tracking permission in your device’s privacy settings. Declining tracking does not prevent you from playing; it does not mean all ad-related data collection stops. Ad availability and personalization depend on consent, device settings, and Google’s services.

The optional Remove Ads purchase disables both interstitial and rewarded ads. Rewards that would otherwise require watching an ad are then available without the video. This does not delete information previously processed by an advertising provider. Purchase validation and restoration through Apple and RevenueCat continue to work after you remove ads.

Read the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

3. Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. We do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, manage the Remove Ads entitlement, restore purchases, and report purchase activity. The game initializes RevenueCat with a randomly generated app-user identifier rather than a player account. RevenueCat processes that identifier, purchase and transaction history, entitlement status, and related app and store information.

See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.

4. Contacting us and visiting this website

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, investigate the issue, and handle privacy requests. Please send only what is relevant and avoid passwords or payment details.

These pages are hosted through Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting the website can involve technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security logs. These pages do not add advertising trackers or a marketing analytics SDK. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

5. Why information is processed and shared

Information is processed to run the game, remember local preferences, fulfill and restore purchases, provide advertising where permitted, respond to support requests, and protect services against abuse. Data is handled by the relevant advertising, purchase, hosting, or email providers for those purposes. It may also be disclosed where required by law.

Third parties receiving personal information through our services must provide protection at least equivalent to this policy and the applicable App Store privacy requirements. Their linked privacy policies explain their processing and the choices available through their services.

Where European data-protection law applies, the relevant legal basis may be performance of the service you request, consent for advertising or tracking where required, legitimate interests in support and service security, or a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Retention and deletion

Local game records remain until you reset gameplay data or delete the app’s data. Reset progress clears progress and preferences but deliberately preserves purchase status and review/session history. Deleting the app removes its local data; device backups may retain copies under your device and backup settings. Offloading the app is different from deleting its data.

Resetting or uninstalling does not erase Apple transaction records or data held by Google, RevenueCat, or other providers. Purchase records may be retained to validate ownership, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements. Provider retention also depends on their policies and your choices.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve and follow up on your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence or other records we can identify. We will explain if a record must be retained or a request needs to be directed to a provider.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data-protection authority. Contact hello@opiray.com to make a request. We may need to verify a request and identify the relevant record; because the game has no player login, we may not be able to associate an advertising or purchase record with an email address alone.

8. International processing and security

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe applicable transfer safeguards. We use the protections provided by our platform and service providers, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children and updates

Shadowcraft is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. Refer to the age rating and parental controls in your app store when deciding whether the game is appropriate. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game or a support request, contact us so we can investigate, address the request, and delete information we hold where required.

We may update this policy when the game or its services change. The date above identifies this version. You can always find the current policy through Settings and this website.
