1. Introduction

Widgety Maker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Widgety Maker (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the App.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Device Information: We generate and store a random anonymous device identifier to manage community features (widget sharing, voting). We do not require account creation or login.

Health Data: With your permission, we read HealthKit data (steps, distance, active calories, flights climbed, exercise minutes, stand hours, heart rate, blood oxygen, body weight, water intake, and sleep analysis) solely to display fitness information in your widgets. This data is stored locally on your device and in the shared app group container; it is never sent to our servers.

Location Data: With your permission, we use your approximate (kilometer-level) location to fetch weather data (via Open-Meteo) for display in your widgets. Location data is stored locally and shared only with Open-Meteo for weather forecasts.

Calendar & Reminders: With your permission, we read your calendar events and reminders to display upcoming events and tasks in your widgets. This data is stored locally on your device only.

Photos: With your permission, we access your photo library to let you add images and backgrounds to your widgets. Selected photos are stored locally in the app's container.

Now Playing: We read the title, artist, and album of any media currently playing on your device (via MPNowPlayingInfoCenter) to display in widgets that use the Now Playing tokens. This data is stored locally and never sent to our servers.

AI Widget Builder: On supported devices (iOS 26+), we use Apple's on-device Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) to generate widget designs from your prompts. Your prompts and generated content stay on your device and are never sent to our servers or any third party.

User-Generated Content: Widgets, designs, and other content you create within the App. If you choose to share content via the Community feature, the widget layout, compressed thumbnail copies of any photos you added (max 200×200 pixels, approximately 30 KB each), and a preview snapshot of the widget become publicly accessible.

Purchase Information: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives Apple's receipt file, the last-seen timestamp, device type, and operating system to verify your subscription status. Apple handles all payment processing; neither RevenueCat nor we receive your payment card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy for details.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Supabase: Hosts the Community feature (widget sharing, voting). Receives widget layouts, preview images, author names, and anonymous device identifiers.

RevenueCat: Manages subscription status. Receives transaction data from Apple to verify purchases.

Klipy: Provides animated sticker search. Receives search queries only, with no personal data.

Pexels: Provides stock images for widgets. Receives search queries only, with no personal data.

Open-Meteo: Provides weather forecasts using your approximate (kilometer-level) location. Your coordinates are sent to this service to retrieve weather data.

Yahoo Finance & CoinGecko: Provides stock and cryptocurrency price data. Only ticker symbols are sent, with no personal data.

Content APIs (ZenQuotes, icanhazdadjoke, Wikipedia, and others): Provide quotes, facts, and content for widget tokens. No personal data is sent.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the App; process subscriptions via RevenueCat and Apple; enable community features and widget sharing; display health, weather, calendar, and device data in your widgets; and detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking.

5. Data Storage and Security

Most of your data (widget projects, health data, calendar data, photos) is stored locally on your device and in the shared app group container. If you enable iCloud Sync, widget layouts (without media) are synced via iCloud Drive. Community data (shared widgets) is stored on Supabase cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

To keep widget data current, the App periodically refreshes weather, calendar, health, and content tokens in the background when iOS permits. These refreshes use the same data flows described above and do not collect any additional information.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the third-party services listed in Section 3 for the specific purposes described. We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights. When you voluntarily share content through the Community feature, widget layouts and preview images become publicly visible.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: revoke permissions for Health, Location, Calendar, Reminders, or Photos at any time via iOS Settings; delete your widget projects locally; remove your shared widgets from the Community; and request deletion of any data we hold. 8. Children's Privacy

The app's age rating is shown on its App Store listing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Community feature allows browsing shared widgets but does not collect personal data beyond an anonymous device identifier. Access to Health, Location, Calendar, Reminders, and Photos requires explicit iOS permission prompts before any data is read; we recommend parental supervision when granting these permissions on a child's device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
