Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the “Merge Balloon” mobile game (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you play. We built Merge Balloon to be fun and simple; we do not run user accounts and we do not directly collect personal information that identifies you. Some third-party services we use to show ads and process purchases do collect limited data, and that is described below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
None. Merge Balloon has no sign-up, login, or profile. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details.
Information stored on your device
Your high score, settings, and current game progress are saved locally on your device only. This data stays on the device, is not sent to us, and is removed if you delete the App.
Information collected automatically by third-party services
To show ads and process optional purchases, the App includes the third-party SDKs listed in Section 3. Depending on your consent choices, these services may collect:
- Device and advertising identifiers (including the Apple Advertising Identifier / IDFA, only if you allow tracking; see Section 5);
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (not precise GPS location);
- Ad interaction and app-usage data (e.g. ads shown, taps, session activity);
- Basic device information (device model, operating system, language) and diagnostics.
2. How Information Is Used
- To run and improve the game and remember your progress and settings;
- To display advertising (personalized or non-personalized, based on your consent);
- To process and restore the optional “Remove Ads” purchase;
- To measure ad performance and detect fraud or abuse.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. The App uses these services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising): Google Privacy Policy. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- RevenueCat (manages in-app purchases): RevenueCat Privacy Policy. RevenueCat assigns a random, anonymous app-user ID and processes purchase/transaction data.
- Apple (App Store & payment processing): Apple Privacy Policy. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
4. Advertising & Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
Merge Balloon is free and supported by ads. On first launch, iOS may ask, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether the App can track you across apps and websites using your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA):
- If you allow it, ads may be personalized.
- If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device. Ads still work either way.
5. Consent (EEA, UK & Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App shows a consent message (via Google’s certified consent platform) before serving ads, so you can accept or decline data use for advertising and manage your choices. You can revisit your choice from within the App.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of certain data uses or “sale/sharing.” Because we do not maintain user accounts or store your personal data on our servers:
- To delete the App’s on-device data, simply uninstall the App;
- To limit ad tracking, decline the tracking prompt or use the device settings above;
- For data held by our third-party providers, use the links in Section 3, or contact us and we will help direct your request.
7. Children’s Privacy
Merge Balloon is rated for ages 13+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, please contact us and we will address it.
8. Data Retention
On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data processed by our third-party providers is retained according to their own policies (linked in Section 3).
9. Security
We rely on reputable providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) and standard platform protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited data involved.
10. International Transfers
Our third-party providers may process data in countries other than your own. Those transfers are governed by the providers’ policies and applicable safeguards.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
